At theCCCnyc.com ("The Calm Cool Collective"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. We have taken great efforts to keep your information confidential and secure at all times within our system. The Calm Cool Collective is not an "information broker." We do not engage in the selling of the habits, behavior, buying patterns, or demographic information of our users. We use the information we collect about you to process orders, pay royalties and provide the best service possible. We may revise this Privacy Policy occasionally, so please check it frequently.


Information Collection & Use

Ordering
When you place an order, we need to know your name, mailing address, billing address, email address. Your credit card number and its expiration date will not be visible to our staff, so your information will be secure. All of this information is necessary for us to complete the transaction and notify you of your order status. If you are ordering for the first time, we also suggest that you sign up for our email updates + newsletters. Finally, we maintain a history of the products you have ordered.

Children's Privacy
If you are a child under 13 years of age, we and COPPA require that your parents / guardians be informed of your intent to create order from The Calm Cool Collective. You will only be able to enter your parent's / guardian's email address. Your parent / guardian will be contacted via email and must give permission to complete your order with The Calm Cool Collective. If we do not receive your parent's / guardian's permission in a timely fashion, your order, parent's / guardian's email address, and any other personal information submitted will be deleted. If we receive your parent's / guardian's permission, you may create an order. As with all personal information collected at The Calm Cool Collective, your data will be kept confidential and will never be sold, shared, or leased to any third party.

Use of Information
We use the information we collect from you for billing purposes and to fill your orders. We do not store your credit card information. If you have created a Username and Password to the site or if you have signed up to receive our Email Newsletter updates we may use your purchase history to personalize special offers and promotions. These offers and promotions will be delivered to you in the form of an email newsletter.


Communications from the Site

Newsletters + Updates & Offers
Our team will occasionally send out an email with news updates & offers of items of interest (via MailChimp) to those who have ordered from our platform previously.
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you.
If you wish to opt-out from any and all emails, please do so via the link provided within the MailChimp email – and of course, no hard feelings if you do. 

Customer Service
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your order. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes.

Special Offers and Updates
We will occasionally send you information on products, special deals & promotions. You can sign up for these emails from us any time in the footer of any page in the site.

Legal Disclaimer
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

Cookies
